There is a difference between a car wash and a detail. A wash removes what is loose. A detail removes what is bonded, corrects what is damaged, and protects what is left. Whether the car is coming in for its own sake or as prep for film or coating, this is the work that decides how everything after it looks.

How we do it
The detailing process

Inspect under proper light
Swirls and holograms are invisible in a garage and obvious in the sun. We look under dedicated lighting so nothing gets missed.

Wash and decontaminate
A safe wash method, then chemical and mechanical decontamination to pull out what washing alone will not.

Correct
Machine polishing to the level the paint can safely take. We measure and we do not chase perfection past what the clear coat allows.

Protect
The corrected finish gets sealed, so the work holds rather than washing away in a month.

What is the difference between a detail and paint correction?
A detail cleans and protects. Paint correction is machine polishing that physically removes a layer of clear coat to level out swirls and scratches. Correction is usually part of a full detail, but it is the part that takes the time.
Can you get every scratch out?
Not always, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a scratch is through the clear coat, polishing cannot fix it without going past what is safe. We will show you what is correctable before we start.
How long does a full detail take?
It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. A correction detail is usually a multi day job, not a same day one. We will give you a realistic timeline when we look at the car.
Do I need a detail before coating or film?
Yes, and it is included in that work. Anything left on the paint gets sealed under the coating or the film, so the prep is not optional.
